•  According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, more than 85% of dogs and cats over four years of age have some degree of periodontal disease. Periodontal disease results from plaque buildup, which in turn allows bacteria to live on the surface of the teeth, usually along the gum line.  
• We recommend annual to semi-annual exams based on age, current dental health, and potential history of dental problems.
•  If problems are noted, we will discuss treatment options and provide an estimate for any recommended dental procedures. 

•  We offer complete spay and neuter services. 
• It’s important to spay your female pet and neuter your male pet to prevent medical and behavioral problems. 
•  Both you and your pet will receive multiple benefits from spaying and neutering. In young male pets, the lower testosterone can curtail aggression. In your female pet, less likely to develop breast tumors, which turn deadly in a large percentage of cases, and less likely to have uterine issues.

•  The staff at Fedore Veterinary Clinic understands all too well the emotions involved with cat and dog euthanasia or putting your beloved pet “to sleep.”
•  When the time comes to make that difficult decision, our staff can help you through every step. Our main goal is to make the euthanasia process as stress-free as possible for your pet.
• Before the procedure, our staff will talk to you about after care options such as cremation.

•  We are equipped to see certain veterinary emergencies during our regular hours. However, if your pet experiences an after-hours emergency, they require an overnight observation, or we determine they require a level of specialty care that can be better provided elsewhere, we’ll refer you to the closest specialty care or emergency animal hospital.
